Export development of the other glass according to the assortment

Export structure of the other glass according to the assortment in 2009 (CZK)

The greatest share with 56.1 % has the export of the fashion jewellery glass and fashion jewellery glass semiproducts. The export of this assortment, which is a traditional export article of the Czech Republic, has been facing up to still stronger and much cheaper competition from the Far East for several years already. In comparison with 2006 the share of the technical glass and glass tiles, plates and glass blocks increased. The share of laboratory glass stayed on the same level. The decrease of the other glass in the other glass group is caused by the above mentioned change of calculation on one side, and by very variable assortment where the export volume is changing all the time, on the other side.
